Five Feet, Nine Inches Above Ground

Go out and howl at and dance around beneath the rays of the first full moon of 2018. It might bring you  good luck, a better harvest, or get you arrested, depending on where you are. My good fortune, with the instigation of Randy and Marc, was to be in Fuzeta on the salt flats and the beach for this lunar event. The salt flats are an important part of a local industry as is the beach, Nighttime fishing was happening on the beach – little blue lights at the ends of the rods indicated the location of the fisher  person.

It was a beautiful day with the mercury reaching a high of 17 degrees celsius although the breeze was cool. Went shopping in the morning and checked out a local pottery business. Am fairly certain that I have found the tiles for the back splash on my stove at home. Portugal, in particular the Algarve, is a wonderful place to shop! We spent the afternoon lazing about the pool in the sunshine.
