Five Feet, Nine Inches Above Ground

Saturday morning four us off to shop and people watch at the indoor/outdoor market in Olhão. It was a bright sunny day with enough of a breeze to keep the flies away” The crowds were out and the vendors were doing a brisk trade.

During the afternoon, I headed out on a hike in an easterly direction from Estoi. It was a route I had taken before so felt confident I wouldn’t get lost and would make it back home in time for supper!

I’ve been well trained by my friends to take the time to look down and observe the ground as well as upwards and outwards. I very nearly missed the mirror orchids – they are so small!
