Five Feet, Nine Inches Above Ground

In the past few days, the weather has been somewhat changeable – a mix of cloud, rain, cool temperatures and then a glorious sun filled day. One of those came along and we went to Faro beach!

And then there was a long leisurely lunch on the terrace of Wax restaurant. Good food, sunshine, breeze and ocean. Who could ask for more?

And when we returned to Estoi, there was the usual walk. The upside with the rain s that everything is growing, turning from shades of brown to green.

And then there was the non-rainy day that Jackson and I set out on our longest hike yet-locally. had done it several years ago accidentally and it does take a certain amount of persistence and time.

And so the days pass quickly into weeks as we soak up the atmosphere of this little corner of the Algarve.
