The end of my sojourn in the Algarve came too soon on April 3 when Jackson and I boarded our flight in Lisbon for the six hour journey to winter. It now appears to be Spring where we live on Rigaud Mountain. A fitting time to look back and revisit share some recent travel memories. First up: a return to Cerro da Cabeça with Randy and Jackson. We took the easier ascent avoiding the more strenuous stairs!
And previous to that hike, before the departure of the Keane family, we returned to Barranco do Velho in search of the elusive green lavender.
It was a glorious day for a hike followed by lunch at a favourite local eatery: Tia Bia.
It was a delicious way to end the day with good food and excellent company.
