Five Feet, Nine Inches Above Ground

Celebrating a birthday is always a good thing and this year Marc allowed us to celebrate his on Friday April 1 at a wonderful restaurant in the tiny hamlet of Bemparece. The journey up into the mountains always takes my breath away with the beauty of the countryside and the sheer drops along the road into the valleys. Once there, we had the time to explore the land around the restaurant and take some photos, of course!

On the way home, we stopped off at a location that is a plant nursery and a retail outlet for olive oil products.

And I’m left to dream about the garden I would love to create in the Algarve!
