These are a few of my favourite things…

There were walks through the tidal pools near Faro Beach, the beach itself, exploring local pathways, tracks and roads and most of all, the people. It became my home away from home because of the people – and Jackson!

It was a hot, sunny day and the boardwalk and trail through the tidal pools was busy. We were glad to make it to the beach.

The hot sand proved to be a challenge for Jackson and he wasn’t terribly keen on the waves. I realized my next trip to the beach, he would be happier at home.

And then there were the people that became my community away from home.

And that, dearest reader, is that! There are lots more photos and lots more memories. However, I wanted to end with some videos involving music from Istanbul to Estoi. Have a listen and enjoy!

So, it isn’t goodbye, it’s au revoir – until we meet again and the next adventure begins.
